APCW Investigates Grand Privé Regarding Closure of Affiliate Program

The Association of Players, Casinos and Webmasters (APCW) is an association that represents and empowers webmasters, players, casino programs and affiliate managers through information and representation where necessary.

Grand Privé online casino group also own other casinos such as Casino Grand Bay, Bella Vegas and others.

Microgaming, who powers all of Grand Privé's casino sites, pulled out of all the USA market and is no longer one of the USA online casinos available.  While this move was expected to prompt the abandonment and closing of the Grand Privé affiliate program, it was also expected to be followed by the closure of Grand Privé's casinos.

Grand Privé informed their affiliates by e-mail that they were canceling their affiliate program.  Since that time, they have not responded to any queries regarding the program.  Much anger and frustration has been experienced by all ex-Grand Privé affiliate program members and all others who have tried to contact them.  Much of the anger is based on the fact that the Grand Privé casinos did not close, and are still operating the casino end of their business as usual, using a player base that was, at least in part, built up by affiliates.  In other words, Grand Privé is still profiting from the affiliate program that they have now canceled.

The APCW is condemning Grand Privé's business move with its blatant disregard for the ex-affiliates.  J. Todd, APCW's Executive Director, posted a video on YouTube where this issue is discussed.  Since they are not able to get a response directly from Grand Privé, the APCW is contacting the people at Microgaming, whose software powers all Grand Privé owned casinos, eCogra, as all their sites carry the eCogra badge, and Kahnawake, who license all the Grand Privé casino sites.  The APCW await the responses from these three companies.
